Recently, I relocated to the North Atlanta area from South Georgia to be closer to work. After months of searching for the “perfect” home, I found it. I found the quality and craftsmanship I had been looking for. I currently work for a rather well-known Atlanta Custom Home Builder. Mr. Locke far supersedes that of what I am selling. Professionally, Mr. Locke is a respectable business man. He kept his promise on every issue discussed during the building process. Many have told me that building a new home is very stressful. I could not find that statement to be further from the truth. Mr. Locke and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with.
I love my new Craftsman Style home. The exterior of my bungalow has charming character and curb appeal. Inside, I am blown away by all of the added features Locke Built includes as standards in the homes; including, coved moldings, intricate trim, hardwoods on the entire first floor, granite counter tops and cherry cabinets in kitchen and master bath, iron stair balusters, and flagstone on the back porch, just to name a few. No details, inside or out, are left behind. Locke Homes even left the trees! I know it’s easier for Builders to remove all the trees and plant new ones after the homes are complete. Not Mr. Locke. I still have beautiful, extremely old trees as part of my home’s backdrop.

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the building process of the new home constructed for us by Locke Inc. This was our first experience building a new home and we had heard countless stories of "nightmares" and how difficult and stressful the process could be. This was not the case when working with you. You were professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. The appointments you scheduled with us for you and other contractors were always held and conducted in a timely manner. The house was built according to plan and schedule and is absolutely breathtaking! The special touches you added make our home truly unique. We couldn't have dreamed of a better finished product! I am in love with my new house, but should I ever decide to move, I certainly look forward to working with you again.

Searching for the “perfect home” was a little more challenging for me than most. My father has been building custom homes for over 30 years and I have been in the building industry for almost 20 years. With those two factors, I know what quality is and presently in the building industry there is not an abundance. The location I chose to move in order to cut my work commute in half was too great a distance for my father to construct me another home, so my search began.
I was overwhelmed at what I found. I found a builder who has the same quality and integrity to which I am accustomed. Mr. Locke’s approach to building a home is not common in many contractors today. His attention to detail, from the placement of the home on the lot, the structural soundness of the home, all the way down to the moldings, is why I chose Ryan Locke. He did not compromise in any area and it is evident in the completed product.
It was a pleasure working with Mr. Locke and if I were to rebuild, I would definitely contract him, again. Thank you, Ryan. I love my new home!
